Cook 2 - Banquets

The Cook 2 is responsible for the daily mis en place of his or her station, adhering to recipe cards and ensuring the standards of quality are being met. Must be proficient in all cooking techniques. Must prepare for all banquet events as needed and execute in a timely fashion if in the banquet kitchen. Must prepare and execute all menu items for their station if in an outlet according to the recipe cards to ensure that quality standards are being met.

Cook 3 - Rise

The Cook 3 is responsible for the daily mis en place of his or her station, adhering to recipe cards and ensuring the standards of quality are being met. Must be proficient in all cooking techniques. Must prepare for all banquet events as needed and execute in a timely fashion if in the banquet kitchen. If in an outlet must follow all recipe cards to ensure quality and consistency.

Pastry Cook II

The Pastry Cook II will be responsible for production in the pastry shop which will include but not limited to: baked breads, rolls, croissants, Danish, muffins, cookies, cakes, plated bqt desserts, desserts for outlets, etc. The Pastry Cook II will also be responsible for ordering and keeping inventory. The Pastry Cook II will ensure all standards are met and of the highest quality. The Pastry Cook II reports directly to the Pastry Jr Sous Chef or Pastry Cook I when Jr Sous is absent.

Pastry Cook III

The Pastry cook is responsible for all dessert preparation in the pastry kitchen which may include, desserts, baked goods, cakes, cookies, ice cream, chocolates etc. The Pastry Cook is responsible for desserts needed for banquets, special events and all restaurants.

Front Service Attendant

Responsible for greeting guests, parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and escorting guests to rooms. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and orientate the guests on room features (e.g., use of room key, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services, and other features of the room). Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval. Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.

Pool Attendant

Maintain high cleanliness standards of the pool and surrounding area and assist with guest requests providing a quality guest experience. The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the pool area, replenishing towels, keeping chairs and tables lined in a orderly fashion and assisting guests with any special needs they may have.

OVERVIEW: The Housekeeping Supervisor assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness. Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments. Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel guestrooms, hallways and landings in accordance with standards. Responsible for conducting daily written inspections of guestrooms.

Responsible for telephone switchboard station in order to answer telephone calls. Process guest requests for wake-up calls, screening calls, room service orders and other requests related to placing or receiving telephone calls. Advise guest of any messages (e.g., voicemail, mail, faxes) received for them, and send to room if required. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Log all guest requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department (e.g. Bellperson, Housekeeping, Engineering, Room Service, Valet), and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction. Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest. Assist guests with accessing the internet. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

Assist employees with accepting and distributing uniforms Perform daily repairs on employee uniforms including, but not limited to, repairing rips, replacing zippers, and changing/replacing trim. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of sewing equipment and all other areas under his/her control.
